Brewery. The event was held to celebrate the dedication of Sierra Nevada’s AMAZING solar array. I say amazing because get this – they have a whopping 7800 solar panels on their roof. Yep. Seventy Eight HUNDRED. I know, cuz I saw them all!

ChicoFest also celebrated Chico State University’s annual Ecofest where all things sustainable were in full display. Chico has a lot going on here – Chico Bag, Klean Kanteen, Springboard Biodiesel, Alternative Energy Systems, Electric Cars, Knudsen Beverages, Lundberg Rice Farms, Greenfeet,  just to name a few of the companies that are based here. The music was fabulous. If you ever get a chance to see MarchNorth Marching Band - grab it! They were a great show, both visually and musically. And the BEER!!!
