yeah, sorry, i sent in a few “cheerleader” beer caps in my 25. I dont drink beer. but my husband does and saves all the caps. he recently switched from bud light to PBR and lone star.

I sent out my package of caps and labels today. They were kicking around for a while, but hubby finally took them to the post office today. I do believe there’s a *gasp* Corona cap in there, but I figured it was better than Coors Light which I cannot even bring myself to drink anymore after trying a bunch of new ales since listening to your podcasts! There’s also more than 25 in there so I more than made up for it?

Funny side note: I teach 3rd grade and we do a TON to go “green” and I told them about your project. I substituted the word “beer” for “soda” when refering to caps and lables and they loved the idea.

Val – I just wanted to let you know that the wildlife part is coming to fruition. I was minding my business, working on my laptop on our new deck. A squirrel came bounding along an jumped up on the rail and was face to face with me. We startled each other, screamed, and dove opposite directions. He then ran up a tree and proceeded to scold me for being in his way. I had a good laugh, but I think he’s still mad.
